The Nockwood Behavioral Archetypes and AEON aeonology cards were conceived by William Charnock and designed by Graham Wood.

 

Originally created for commercial use in marketing and advertising, Nockwood cards were successfully used to drive strategic innovation for brands such as LifeWTR for Pepsi, Quaker, Chubb and Acumen. A fortuitous encounter with Elaine Pagels (author and translator of The Gnostic Gospels) revealed an uncanny alignment between the Nockwood framework and the ancient wisdom of Valentinus that was documented in texts recently discovered from the 2nd Century CE. Since then, William Charnock has become a widely recognized expert in Gnostic Aeonology and the AEON cards have ignited the rebirth of Aeonology as a spiritual practice.
